This page covers the public website and demo request form. In-app school data is governed by each school’s agreement with Slate and by Ghana’s Data Protection Act (Act 843).

What we collect on this site

If you request a demo, we store your name, role, school name, location, approximate student count, phone, email, and any notes you add, plus a record that you agreed to be contacted. We use that to schedule a walkthrough. We do not sell it.

How long we keep it

Demo requests are kept long enough to follow up and then removed or archived under our retention rules. You can ask us to delete a request by emailing the address you used on the form.

School data in the product

Attendance, marks, reports, and guardian records live in the school’s tenant. That data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Grade changes and approvals leave an audit log. Parents sign in with a phone number and PIN; they do not need an app store account.
